Congrats to Sofi on reaching her centennial! :)

Haven't had much time or energy for posting as of late, but to be honest there's not really been anything of severe note to report. Work has accelerated as the semester is starting to kick in and I've had to re-designate my priorities. Right now my main focus is on digitizing and getting audio files ready for posting on the web. It's interesting but tedious and there is some pressure to get this done. We are doing it this was as an alternate to the never-been-working-properly Axonix. (Thank you to Mr. Eric who may have rooted out the problem with the Ax in just viewing it for a half-hour when he stopped by the office after lunch yesterday. I think it may have led our systems department on the right track.)

I did find a wonderful site all about the views from Wellington Harbour in New Zealand. Check out the page of 'Interesting Images'--it is the colour of my dreams. Wellington is where we stayed most of the time when we were in New Zealand and the images on this page are like the images burned in my memory. It's amazing that there are people who wake up everyday to skies like that and think nothing of it. I suppose it's the same here, that I take for granted the vistas I see everyday. I just don't seem to fit as well here as I would there.

Tonight is sad because it will be the last time we get to go to our favourite Chinese restaurant, Wong's. It's closing because Tampa sucks and doesn't know how to appriciate good food. Still, they do have a restaurant in Orlando, so fuck Tampa.

And Orlando should be a nice respite this weekend. Jane is letting me leave early and V is getting out just after me so we can head up and nose around a bit before hand (perhaps for Chinese food?).
