2003-01-17//12:19 p.m. Kia Ora- -Neil Finn, Rest Of The Day Off, 2001 OK kids--it's time for a short respite. I type this as the end of Tora! Tora! Tora! plays on my video screen, the fade out scene of the burning ships in Pearl Harbor. Kind of fitting as I fly my Zero back to Orlando this afternoon, watching the sunset over Tampa. I see the irony. But hey, I'm all doped up still. It's supposed to be C-O-L-D this weekend. Like freezing cold. Like I need to bring my trenchcoat cold. Like ice, duder--ICE! Still, it will be nice. As long as I can get to the condo and possibly crash for a few minutes. And if that doesn't work, then as long as they can funnel alcohol to my prone body I'm sure I'll be fine. I need caffiene. I need sleep. Still, as Neil says (and hopefully soon): Heart, -N.
