The enemy of my enemy is my ally.

At the moment I am listening to The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars by the deity David Bowie. It's such a timeless album. I remember listening to the song Five Years at the start of Desert Storm, then just before the millenium. I'm listening to it again.

I found a box of old photographs the other day and have brought them with me to see what I want to post on the web. I think it's time for a history lesson. Either that or just some embarassing pictures of people I know.

I can't believe I totally forgot about the NBA All-Star game in my last post. What a great ending, eh? Jordan proves he's still the man and then essentially passes the torch to his heirs. Another deity.

Valentine's Day is Friday. Does anyone know a restaurant where they serve heart?

It's sad about Curt 'Mr. Perfect' Hennig. He passed away in Tampa (Brandon) yesterday at the age of 44. (For those of you who don't know, he was a professional wrestler and he was much beloved behind the scenes.) He had a big comeback last year and stayed with the WWE for a good part of the year. I dogged him a bit mostly because he's one of Kirk's favourite wrestlers (and he does the same on my admired Undertaker) but also because his character got under my skin. However, watching the business I've learned that it's the ones that I detest and get under my skin that are the nicest guys behind the scenes (I didn't care for Owen Hart's character, but after he passed all the great stories came out about him and what a friend and family man he was--same with Hennig). V, Kirk, Karen, and I got the opportunity to meet him in Orlando a year ago and I am glad for Kirk that we did--he seemed a genuinely nice guy. My sincerest condolences to his loved ones and fans.
