Kia Ora-

'I haven't this scared in a long time/And I'm so unprepared, so here's your Valentine...'
-Blink 182, Going Away To College, 1999

Happy VD, ya'll. Er, that's Valentine's Day.

So being one who is a bit burnt on the brain at the moment, I think I shall steal the quiz from the recent birthday girl and take her Five For Friday:

1. Explain why you started to journal/blog.

I used to write down all my train of thoughts and whatevers using Poetry.com. Some were nice lines, some were stupid, but most were insanely vague. I searched for a while for a good on line blog and wound up here. Actually, after trying to get one at LiveJournal (and refusing to pay) my first one was with that DeadJournal place (because the name was cool and it didn't even occur to me until now that it was meant to be the opposite of LiveJournal) but I forgot my password before I even wrote thing one. Melissa told me about Diaryland, Ms. Sofi seconded the motion, and here I am.

2. Do people you interact with day to day or family members know about your journal/blog? Why or why not?

My story is pretty much the same as Sofi's--I've got a link to it from my website and friends who use the internet know it's there. The thoughts are honest and it's probably nothing more that people who know me haven't heard already, so that's fine. Everyone I know who stops into my journal were friends way before this internet thing.

3. Do you have a theme for your journal/blog?

Erm...me. At the moment the page itself is paralleling everything about the city I love (Orlando, Florida) and how once beloved landmarks are rapidly disappearing. Basically, life is change, yet life remains. Is that deep enough? (As for the actual theme of the page, I created it from a theme-design where they said it was cool to change the appearance and do what we like with it. I still give them the credit at the bottom of the page though.)

4. What direction would you like to have your journal/blog go in over the next year?

What? I guess I could say that I want the direction to be full of great experiences for my friends and I. All the blessings and love in the world.

5. Pimp five of your favorite journals/blogs.

I only ever read 5 diaries (and that includes my own):

The Benevolent: Sofi
The Artist: Melissa
The Dreamer: Dori
The Law: Phil
The Narrator: Nafa

Keep the faith,

-N.
