2003-02-24//11:26 p.m. Kia Ora- -Neil Finn, Give It A Whirl, 1979 So the WWE's No Way Out was last night, and Mr. Eric and Phil hosted. It was brilliant. As always, it was a lovely time and the food was amazing. It started with Phil making his version of ceviche, with lots of shrimp and avacado. They had already started a couple of slabs of barbequed ribs with a special rib rub. Then the grilling began--huge, lovely cuts of steak and marinated chicken. And Mr. Eric made some of his mom's cucumber salad which is always great. All this food, huge amounts of meat, and it was so good. The steak was rare and perfect--seared ever so on the outside and deep red and bloody on the inside. It was the best steak I've had in ages. And to top everything off, there was cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory (where Phil chefs at). The spread was incredible. Also, on Saturday I found this pure Chris Jericho outfit (he is a WWE superstar and a H U G E R O C K S T A R !)--shiny red shirt with stars and skulls, black PVC pants, and a metallic red pair of sunglasses--and everything was the right size for Eric. With the Hynes' blessing, we got the outfit for him, sort of as a joke, but I thought the shirt would at least be good. After opening his package (complete with a RAW IS JERICHO wrapping) he tried it all on. Damn!!! What we thought was just a funny side gift turned out to be a big pimpin', pure Ybor, outfit of the uber-club deity. Eric completely pulled off the look and it looked great on him! He is a god! Adding his recently aquired leather trenchcoat completed the transformation. It was brilliant. And now for Kirk... I'm looking forward to attending the hockey legend's game this Friday night. He is a Defender on Team Black with the Palm Harbor Roller-Hockey League, and he plays on Friday nights (this week it's at 8:30p). Here's an action shot (he's #1). And check out the PHRHL website here. Go Black! That's it for now. More when my brain recovers (or at least my body catches up). Keep the faith, -N.
