Discrimination?

Just my thought for the day. I don't want to say I'm bitter against anyone specific, this has just been bothering me for a while now.

When we travel down Columbus Ave. in Tampa, we pass by this billboard. It basically reads:

'La discriminación no vuela en Tampa.'

For those of you who don't speak Spanish, it roughly translates to, 'Discrimination doesn't fly in Tampa.'

I don't speak Spanish (V translated it). I had a thought--that's kind of an exclusive sign to have in a public place, so since I am excluded from being able to read the sign am I being discriminated against? Since I don't speak Spanish for all I know it could have read, 'Fuck Samoans, outlaw Christianity, kill Nafa Fa'alogo.'

I dunno, it just got me thinking. Most importantly, it made me think:

'La Maunia Le Kilisimasi Ma Le Tausaga Fou, Kefe!'

What? You don't speak Samoan? Oh, sorry, I'm not discriminating--just get your girlfriend to translate it for you like I had to.

Keep the faith,

-N.
