2003-03-31//9:34 p.m. Kia Ora- -Billy Corgan, Thirty-Three, 1995 It appears that Diaryland is slowing down a bit. Just a few random notes of stuff that's gone on in the past few days... -I had Friday off because of work on Saturday and I did errands. V and I went to Tia's for dinner and then walked around Best Buy. Did you know they won't kick you out at closing time? They just shut down the entry, but if you're in the store they don't rush you out. We were there until about 9:30pm just nosing around, and lingering long at the karaoke CDs for some reason. I almost got Jackass: The Movie because it came with a free wristband, but I opted not to. -Saturday was spent at work and then a nice evening at Mr. Eric's house eating Publix subs and playing ye olde Playstation 2. I suck at the football game and that's why Mr. Eric (who was my teammate) lost to Kirk. But it was all good. V went up to Citrus County to help Christel housesit overnight. -Sunday was holy. Not because I finally went to the church V and her mom have been attending (an odd but very friendly church, Harmony Spiritual Life Center--perhaps a bit too New Age for my tastes), but because it was WRESTLEMANIA XIX. To the Hynes' it was for a feast of burgers, video game carnage, and the real thing. As many of you know, we play out most of the matches before the pay-per-views (and for about the first four ppv's the PS-2 went 15 for 16), and for WMXIX the PS-2 went 6 for 7, with two of the matches being exact in the predictions. And for once I was nearly undefeated in gameplay (I may have only won perhaps 2 matches before last night). The PPV was great (though God bless Brockle Snar as he missed the end of a Shooting Star Press and pretty much knocked himself silly). And of course it's always good to be with my family. -Monday I called in, rested, ate lunch with V, and went to Borders in the evening just to get out of the house. That's pretty much it in a nutshell. God bless our troops, the UK, and the Iraqi people. Keep the faith, -N.
