Kia Ora-

Greetings one and all. I've held off on writing more because the last one was such a lengthy epistle. I can't believe how fast time flies when you're not at sea. It has already been a week since we've been back, yet it feels like years since we boarded to leave. Either way, we're already planning our next cruise.

It was great to see Ms. Sofi yesterday however briefly. I hope she has a safe trip home! :)

Work so totally sucks right now. It's mixed up and blown around and so unteathered. I don't know how else to explain it. Still, it could be worse I suppose. It's to the point where I'm pretty lackadaisical in my attitude, not that I don't care or hate my work, just that it's a better line of defense than pure, blind anger or not doing my job altogether.

Mr. Kirk's birthday is a week from Tuesday. I'm not sure what to get him. Perhaps I'll send him flowers at work--that would so embarass him. And I'll sign the card, 'love from the twins, Taint & Teabag'. He'll think Mr. Eric and Phil sent it! Bwahahaha!

V never reads this so I feel safe revealing it here. I was going to order her a jade hummingbird online (we found out on the trip that a jade hummingbird is a symbol of love in the Mayan culture), but the store was in Toronto and that's one of the big SARS places at the moment. Call me extreme, but I don't want to take any chances whatsoever. I will find one somewhere though.

And I am so big on the Mayan studies right now. Something about standing on the top of the Temple of the Jaguar God is quite empowering. And you think we lost a lot of information in the Library at Alexandria, the Mayans were spiritual scientists--a great balance and an accurate study. So much lost there.
