2003-05-05//4:01 p.m. Kia Ora- -Phil Judd & Tim Finn, Time For A Change, 1975 So there's really something to the wind blowing your hair around as you lean on the railing, staring down to the deep, deep blue sea, watching the sun drift towards the horizon, and playng The Kinks' Waterloo Sunset. There's also something to realizing that you're stuck in fucking Tampa. Still, this was a great weekend, apart from V getting ill (and not in the Beastie Boys way). Friday night was the openning of X-2: X-Men United, which kicked mucho ass. Before the film we ate dinner with Mr. Eric and Ammy. Saturday was golf with the impending birthday boy, Kirk, while the girls had fun doing girl things. We all went back and watched X-Men on DVD after that. Then on Sunday we had dinner with my parents, the went to see a film with they Hynes'...X-2 (their original plans fell through and they called to see if we wanted to go with them to an eariler showing). After that it was the new Sonic and then to Wal-Mart. All in all it rocked, and we got to spend muchos time with the Hynes'. And it was an X rated weekend...X-Men rated, that is! Mr. Eric came up for a lunch at Lucy Ho's today which is always the highlight of my Monday or Tuesday (which ever day we get together for lunch). Apart from that I'm editing the latest version of the Media Resources video, today was the script writing, voice overs, and reshoots. Argh. Still, as this is intersession and we are only open till 5:00pm, I only have like 15 minutes before the closing announcement so that's good. Take care, one and all. Keep the faith. -N.
