2003-07-20//1:47 p.m. Kia Ora- -Memory, from CATS Wow, it's been nearly 2 weeks since I've updated this diary and actually there has been quite a bit I've been wanting to write about. Just to keep everyone up on more recent events. My cousin Ann from New Zealand wrote to me recently. It will be great getting to know her and the family in Aotearoa. Granted, I did meet her before, but I was 8 and she was 4. She is very, very cool and I look forward to corresponding with her. V and I went to see CATS last night. I've seen in before and this performance was pretty good. Our seats were in the back but that gave a different perspective on the show. At the moment, I'm back with Midnight Bowlers League and we're playing a show for WMNF this Saturday. We have the choicest of spots, 10:00pm. I would like to encourage people to come out and see us, but at $15 a pop for a 20 minute set I say stay home and wait to see if we play again someplace better. Still, there are some great songs we'll be doing. My mind is racing, as it alway will, or so to paraphrase Stipe. I'm addicted to While You Were Out (and it's got Leslie--yea!!), and all those Discovery shows. That's about it for me for now. Lady V and I are going to see Terminator 3 in just a few hours so I'm totally stoked about that. I absolutely LOVE the Terminator films and have for years (again, thank you Anne for the T-1 vid and Arnold statue which still is front and center on my mantle). Alright duders, I'm out. Keep the faith. -N.
